The projects are easy enough for most people to understand and create, and there is plenty of variety to choose from.
However, I feel like some sections have been slightly overstretched; for example using multiple different silicone molds for various projects, or featuring several angles and how to make them.
While it can be useful to have multiple options for the same item, I think a section on what you can do with found silicone molds would work better in this case, as well as referring back to earlier instructions on pressing leaves into cement - which is essentially the same process used with metal angels.
Overall, while there are some flaws in editing and layout of the book, the photography and instructions given remain clear and helpful - providing enough information to allow readers to create their own concrete crafts.

Along with tutorial videos and the Concrete Exchange, this book provided me with all the information necessary to complete two monolithic sinks for my bathrooms and twenty linear feet of kitchen countertops in four sections.
If I could do it over again, I would reduce the thickness of the kitchen counters to 1.5 inches instead of 2.25 inches—this would make them lighter and easier to move.
When precasting concrete, it is essential to build a solid, sturdy table that will limit deflection. This prevents bowing and ensures a smooth, level finish. Additionally, extra attention should be paid to the formwork as outlined in the book's procedures. Make sure to round all outside corners with a bead of sealant at the bottom corner. This eliminates any sharp edges that can occur with exposed concrete countertops.
